I am happy to inform you, that in Tom's current state, he is again 1.70 m tall.

I'm starting to think Tom's height simply changes with the seasons.

He's just like the Eiffel Tower.

2 months into his Pro career, and he's going head to head in a Classic with the World's best Classics rider, and absolutely smoking the guy.

His potential seems limitless, if his junior career and the last few weeks are an indicator of what's to come. At some point he'll probably need to specialise more, but right now you could see him winning 5 Monuments, the Grand Tours, a MTB Olympics gold, a CX Worlds, elite TTs, Champs Elysees sprints, you name it. Not all of them, but any of them, if you catch my drift.

No guarantees in cycling, we've seen it many times before, but this kid is a genuine mega-talent.

What is Ineos long-term goal with him? To become GT rider? Also is he any good in TT?
He became junior WCh TT a couple of years ago so he probably isn't too bad it. He should be a capable GT-rider in the future since he dominated the baby Giro last year, but I hope Ineos doesn't try to turn him into a fulltime GT-rider.

He probably fills their squad much, much easier as a classics rider, but it's still Ineos. They'll want him as the future British GT star long term.

Wouldn't be surprised if he already goes for GC at the Vuelta.
Or at least tests himself.

Wrong thread, there's only one rider capable of those wins! :D

And that is Chris Harper!

Oh wait.... Is this not the Chamber of lies?

I'd say going for GC would be too early in his especially with Yates and Bernal scheduled for La Vuelta. However, we've seen riders like Bernal be great domestiques towards the end of MTFs in his first grand tour, so he might fit well into that role with two leaders possibly.
