Has there ever been such an amount of great Prologe riders?
It's crazy how many good Prologers we have right know, especially with all those young guys coming up.

Was just thinking about it. Lots of good prologue riders at the start, on one hand the TT specialists with Cancellara, Martin, Wiggins etc. and on the other hand the fast men like Sagan, Cavendish etc. But my favorite is still Cancellara although I think it could be very close.

I'm picking Cancellara as well. It's technical enough to provide benefit over the lesser bike handlers but not so technical he loses towards the super explosive guys. I guess this loooong bend early and again late in the course really suits him.
His form should be rising and I expect him to be significantly better than in the TdS prologue. This should give him the edge over his closest rivals.

I live in Liège and I can tell you this course is not technical at all. Two roundabouts and a couple of 90° turns on wide roads and that's about it.

Considering that, I think Westra deserves a mention as well. His form is good. And he is Ut Beest, after all.

Phinney and Super G.

I suppose following the giro you could place phinney out on his own but i suspect cancellara would have something to say about that!

Since we're talking about Super G though; next season could be massive for him since he'll be 100% focused on the road. And I am looking forward to seeing that

Lots of people saying its technical. I dont see how this is technical. 2 180s and all other turns taken at high speed. Sagan wont figure here. The big TT guns will be out in force
I think Wiggo will put down a marker to say to Evans "and thats only over 6k!"

He may put 10 secs or so into cadel here at best. Dont think Evans will care with the 3000K that lies ahead.

Will Wiggo win this is a good question, will he win any of the time trials?

I'd expect wiggins to go hard, but will be holding back. he won't want the jersey yet.
reckon it may backfire on him depending upon start time and who he can gauge his effort/ride on...

Where did Westra end up?
