Glad I can help in such difficult times ;)
yep,Im bored in a train right now :p:D

to the topic about Rigo.
I think he has a serious shot at winning a GT but he needs to improve his climbing a bit.Is there a proper trainer in opqs to adjust his training?

He's not that far...He just needs to be able to do what Valverde does: finish with the favourites.

Agree 100% with the order. Prefer Talansky better than Uran.

Any concrete reason for it?

Rigo is going to win a GT really soon, he knows that he can handle Il Giro and is going to aim for it... Kiwa can keep the tour haha

I question Rigo's mental strength and be able to get the best of his climbing ability (Purito can teach him a thing or two about this subject).

I think we should do 5 best ever.

Imo Contador is close to first, Mercxx could never do that in this era.

1.Contador(this is on basis he wins few more and he will Giro 2015 or sure)
2.Mercxx
3.Hinault
4.Armstrong
5.Indurain

lol at no Armstrong you gotta be joking people. You may not like him but 7 TDF in a row is so "great". No one will ever do that they may win 7 in a carear perhaps but never 7 in a row. Yes LA did win those Tour's:).

Indurain won 5 TdF in a row and achieved twice the double Giro + Tour. That's more impressive. He was much more crushing in the TT's than Armstrong and mostly the 2nd best in the mountains after Pantani.
No one wins a GT with 2 flat ITT against 1992-1995 Indurain.

Im not so sure about that Armstrong would destroy Indurain uphill it would not even be close. And Indurain was very lucky at his best never had anyone who could consistently outclimb him. Rominger was a pathetic challenger. IMO Indurain 92-95 stretch is weakest GT era for decades. Abd don't underestimate Armstrong's ITT the guy was better than Ullrich and he was scary good in the ITT. Put 100kms of ITT in a TDF with 5MTF and Indurain would not have a chance.

And to the comment when i said i don't think Mercxx could do it in this era so i should not compare era's?. Mercxx era was not proper bike racing as today not as complex. I bet alot of cheating went on in his days using cars and helicopters.

Also DrJuice what is is so good about being crushing in the ITT? Give me someone who can win MTF stages anyday. Imagine Indurain/Wiggins winning 5 TDF today talk about borefest?. Armstrong done both he should get the nod imo. Same amount of GT wins aswell.

I love debating the older rider everyone has diff opionions thats why we love cycling.:)

Good shout Ullrich in 97 was good uphill aswell i think he was as crushing in the ITT. Surely someone knows avg Speeds for ITT in the 90's? Was Indurain realy that much quicker than Ullrich?

Ever:
Merckx, Hinault, Contador, Anquetil, Indurain. No Lance not because he lost his 7 wins, but because he did so little outside of TdF. I value the diverse ability, courage, and sporting-ness of those that do different GTs.

Now:
Contador, Froome, Nibali, Quintana, Valverde. Yes, Valverde. A GT win and too many podiums to ignore. 4th and 3rd this year and now regularly doing 2 GT/year, and beating other rivals (for 5th place on this list) head to head. He's on the wrong side of his career peak, however, and will never be on a top 5 GT rider list again.

Next season:
Contador, Froome, Quintana, Nibali, Aru.

so you do think Nibali will be worse than this year?
