Depends on how they really approach Oyonnax. From the north: flat, from the west: hilly-medium mountains. With some minor tweaks, this can be a good stage, but i guess we won't get them.

My bad, it is from the North I think, thought that was the same as Dauphine (isn't).

It's a shame they have only one ITT, and all the way at the end. That's rarely interesting.

Still, a lot of good stages. Sheffield, Arenberg, Gerardmer, PDBF, Pla D'Adet. That's at least 5 really well designed stages. That's rare for the ASO.

I presume the theory is to force the climbs to attack early and take risks during the mountain stages as they won't know how many minutes they'll need on the Dawg for the ITT.

Obviously of Froome is in yellow at that point it'll be pointless.

9 cobbled sections is good in anyone's language.

The first Yorkshire stage is also well designed. It will end in a sprint most likely, but it is a good stage with some difficulty.

I kind of like the stage into Bagneres de Luchon. Can anybody draw me the stage to Oyonnax? It might be hard. And how about the stage into Saint Etienne? What will that be like?

If Horner finds a team and is in his Vuelta shape it could be interesting, hehe...

Anyone have a link for all the profiles?

There is a reason he chose to "peak" for the Vuelta and not the Tour...

What you get then thought is morons like Andy Schleck grossly overestimating their own itt ability and wasting 3 mtfs

given some of the bs that came out of contador's mouth this year about how froome was going to fade like in the 12 vuelta, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the same mistake.

not that it really matters, since froome is heads and shoulders above everyone else in climbing and recovery too
