See this is why i love 2.2 racing. at the start you look at that stage profile and you think ok some guys will be dropped on the first climbs but in general a pretty big bunch will come into the final together and none of the top guys will risk going from that early, the strong teams will pull it back.

in 2.2 it is on like donkey kong right from the start. they are off and the race is almost decided before we get close to the bigger stages

Oh and while i am sure the JTL to sky chat is a joke, i could actually see him heading to Garmin. think he would be a good fit there

I mean now.

The guy isn't just strong, he also knows how to join the right move, like he did today.

Apparently the offer was on the table, but he chose to honoor his existing contract at Endura - partly because he knew they are struggling for sponsors for next season - and he felt abliged to.

Will be at sky next season though.

JTL continues to kick ****. Great try by Meintjes in the morning but no one could stay with the man of the moment. 26 second lead going into the final stage and the strongest guy in the field. 2 horse race and going to take something special by Pliuschin to beat him.

Pliuschin unlucky not to get some time back in the TT after puncturing with 4 to go.

Zakarin had a good day with 3rd in the morning and winning the TT.

30 kms in, 19 riders up the road with 3.45 with lots of climbing to come

included in the front group are the likes of Charteau, Lebas, Kusztor, Olivier and Remme

None of them are within 15 minutes of lead so no real worries for Endura right now

I don't know much bout these other guys, but Olivier is a good climber, so if Endura arn't going to chase, hemight well win this stage.

EDIT looking at stage 3 results, I see Olivier was the best of these guys, but not by much, so he'll have to work hard if he wants to win.

yeah he is the highest overall, he (along with all the rabos) missed the crucial break on stage 2 and the manager has been giving them hell ever since. on form yesterday Remme and Lebas are both also going well.

50 kms in, and the first big climb done, and the gap seems to have been pegged at 4 minutes for
