Tbh you thought Rujano would win Giro so I wouldn't be sure about that statement :p

He would have definitely got a stage win imo.

And Cavendish said he could win six Giro stages.
People say things.

I think it's bit diffrent coming from a pro rider and a cycling enthusiast, isn't it ?

He could have won 6 stages as well if not the crashes in my humble opinion, unlike Rujano who didnt even finish ;)

Rujano could've won the Giro too, if he climbed like last year and didn't get ill

could've would've should've

but in the end

Rujano didn't win the Giro
Cavendish didn't win 6 stages

Not quite. He said there were 6 stages he could win. 6 chances. Not necessarily the same as saying he could win all 6.

Furthermore, saying 'could' is quite different to 'would', which the post you responded to did.

A better example would've been Rujano who said he would win lot's of stages and GC at the start of this year's Giro. At least according to Savio.

Although I'm sure Cavendish actually thought he would win 6 stages here, luckily didn't say it out loud.

So Greipl worked for Tony a little bit yesterday. I wonder if Greipl won't get any problems with his team for doing this?

QS worked for Greipel in the first 3 stages. ;)
