Sky still not contributing to the chase, HTC and Garmin doing all the work today.

You can understand it, to a certain extent. They save Swift, EBH and Thomas for the business end. Wiggins, Zandio and Uran are there for the mountains. Knees is there to bring the drinks and for Wiggo to shelter behind. Gerrans, I suppose, is there for the hilly finishes (although has been nowhere thus far). But what's Flecha there for, if not to help bring the breaks back?

I like Sky and want them to do well, but if EBH punctures, I wouldn't blame Garmin and HTC if they got on the front and absolutely drilled it.

ES guys talking about Katusha now. I would be very surprised if they don't come out of this Tour as the worst team (in terms of doing anything, not on team GC).

what a stupid idea with the all russian team.

I would have thought we'd have seen more of Kolobnev and Galimzyanov this week, pity :(

Correct me if im wrong but hasn't it been said plenty of times on this forum that he had a small stroke?

http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest/380379/friday-s-british-news-round-up.html

Contrary to speculation that Sean Yates has suffered a stroke, the retired professional actually had what one source close to him described as a “dizzy spell”.

Yates underwent tests but received the all clear; he has had no after-effects from the symptoms.

Yates suffers from a heart condition, called atrial fibrillation, meaning his heart sometimes receives contradictory messages from the brain, making it go haywire.

So why does he sound drunk then?

It's not like they really had many other options - Purito can't race 365 days a year

they have other talented riders like moreno, hoste, paolini, killer, pipo, vantomme

anyone think they will pull the break back before the int sprint ?

5 min in 40 km ish
Garmin and HTC between them could do it if they really wanted to, but I don't think they do.
