It's a bit of a disgrace isn't it? If you didn't know Bob Roll was a professional cyclist you'd swear he was just an uninformed d-bag.

ex pro cyclist and d-bag. can he not be both;)

what. ?

Can you sum it up, clearly miseed this situation with AC did see he went down but not aware of any bigger reason to it. ?

i'm sort of trying to catch my breath from the sight of hoogerland and flecha swiped by that car and hoogerland flying into barbed wire! my god. and of course the front pelaton descent crash injuring so many....

all i have on contador is that little video clip some1 posted here. it's not clear to me that karpets shoved him into the ditch. i wouldn't jump to conclusions from the little clip. but i do hope if contador was pushed it's reviewed.

Look again. He looks over then gives the shoulder/hip shove. Maybe they had been fighting for a wheel or something... but that looked intentional.

He looks to the left, not in front, touches a wheel/pothole, swirves, bumps AC and of goes AC....

Isn't that just as likely? Intent is really weird.. why would VK do that? Perhaps you have better footage than the one I'm using?

Finally caught up after taking the time to rewind and watch that car.

The average Versus audience knows nothing about cycling except they're excited about the mountains coming up, because that's where Lance is going to take the yellow jersey.

Hilarious. And true.

Should have radioed back for Cancellara's opinion. Duh.
:D Lol. :D

I expect a serious rider protest. French TV driver just changed the entire race.

A protest definitely in order.

Garmin already stated their non-intent to keep yellow

Why do they ride at the front now at all then? It is the schizophrenia I'm against, half-committing to stuff, like Vaughters saying over the race radio in RvV: "don't race"

JV vas interviewed on norwegian TV before todays stage, and he said straight out that were going to defend the jersey. So it's a failed attempt.

Ryder out back now.

I'm just rewinding the Versus footage. I didn't see anyone else in the group swerve. I doubt Karpets wanted to crash AC but it really looks like they are fighting for a wheel or something.... Karpets hip/shoulder checked him imo.

There's a tradition of doing this in the peloton. They call it "flicking." Might have done it because he doesn't like Conti. Might have been paid to do it. But it definitely looks intentional.
