I have no sympathy with them whatsoever. Disgraceful actions of someone who drives for a living FFS. I really hope Sky and Vacansoleil consider legal action.
why not a public hanging or stoning....

Im just as angry but the hysteria is almost comical if it wasnt so serious

Why does Garmin-Cervelo ride now and not helping OPL before??

Is it because there is only 3 breakaway riders now?
Is it to save the Yellow jersey by letting the breakaway get away with ~1minute so as to not encourage attacks on the last climb.

It is a pretty lame tactic in my opinion, but hey, it's Vaughters.. he knows what he is doing to save the sport

Driving like that on any public road would be enough for a conviction for dangerous driving. And it's all on camera.

I hope this leads to a change in the rules where no-one who's not directly involved is allowed to ride on the parcours. Why on earth was a car which is not of the organization or one of the teams even in that position. It's not like there isn't another way to get to the finish.

What race are you watching? They've been on the front a lot today. Obviously not so much on the climbs as they are not interested in keeping the tempo too high for Thor. I don't like Vaughters either, but here you are missing the mark.

it is time riders demand the vip treatment and everyone else comes second.

too many execs etc. get the best treatment while riders get treated like second class citizens.

Over 100 pages well before the end of the stage. Give us more crashes for the record :)
I was half snoozing when the first crash happened, sat up on the couch, rewatched it on Verses, got in this intertubey thing (and now watching eurosport as well), and I just caught up with the final page of comments. Interesting stage indeed, thou I wont be adding any smiley faces...

Hoogerland should be allowed to finish and get his mountains classification jersey regardless of time cuts. I hope he finishes. Those cuts look pretty bad, so I doubt he starts Tuesday.

They had one guy up there among 4 OPL-riders as far as I saw. Did I miss something?
But still, are they planning to ride for "second best" again?

did hoogerland gain enough points to keep the mountain jersey?

He also has to finish the stage and sadly it doesn't look too good.

They should reduce the number of cars and motos driving together with the race. Only keep the essentials.
