So Montoux stage, break will get 30 minutes, favourites will snooze until halfway up the mountain and we will finish at 7pm *zzzzZZzz* ;p

More likely they start early as the race card will give slow speeds due to a 'mountain stage' - raced quickly and all over before TV coverage starts

i didn't expect it to be so long. . . this is actually one of the mountain stages that i wouldn't bother to see just above 100k because there isn't much when it comes to climbs around ventoux. some other mountain stages could use those extra kilometers. . .

I just realized that the Mont Venteux stage is on July 14. That's a big mistake I think. It should be a day with a lot more opportunities to attack.

Alpe is obviously still mythical in Tour De France - overrated or not as a climb - and riding it twice is spectacular and will be epic.

Yes, 40 km should be a minimum, Pescheux and Prudhomme are morons...well if it was up to Pescheux there wouldn't even be a middle ITT, he's been on record saying it was useless!
