Froome has never been a bad descender. He has just never had to chase that hard or attack on a descent because he is usually miles ahead of everyone.

What's he supposed to do? Attack? Just take a look at Pinot. Now that's a guy who can't descend. Apparently, Contador couldn't follow wheels without crashing either.
