Froome and Sky are unbeatable when they have luck and they are killing cycling because of it. The only way to beat them is to have a team of the GC guys work against them.

If Froome wasn't there, Movistar would be riding just as defensively.

That's right because Quintana would be in yellow so of course they would defend ;)

Did Simon Yates get dropped early then? :(

Almost as soon as they hit the Glandon.

Seems asif him and his brother are not as strong as we thought :(

Adam has been ill IIRC

Actually Simon! And supposedly Simon is the better climber, so not the best circumstances for them to show their ability.

Isn't Quintana only like 3 minutes behind Froome? With 2 mountain stages left after today including Alpe?

And he has the best card in the race - Valverde, as his teammate. With Contador and Nibali quite a bit behind and weaker climbers?

And people are seriously defending him riding for 2nd?

He doesn't have a card in Valverde because based on today, Valverde has cracked and he must have been on the edge of cracking yesterday and they knew it.

So Sky aren't killing cycling. Modern tactics as applied by any team strong enough to implement them are killing cycling.

another stage for the escapers. Sadly.

Isn't it great that attacking is rewarded?
Sure, but in the mountains you would like to see the favorites at least duking it out for the stage win more than just once

Blame Sky. It's their fault. They are killing cycling. If you attack, you have Thomas shutting it down. Thomas is the 2nd est climber in the race behind Froome.
