Froome is not the strongest Sky rider for the first time this Tour.

I don't believe for a second it's enough for Quintana to win the Tour, but it's still significant.

Froome is 15 minutes into a 40 minute effort, Poels is 15 minutes into a 20 minute effort? We'll see

True, but still the ease with with Poels rode to Quintana, having to be called back time and again. He doesn't look good, and Poels does. But you're right, Poels doesn't have to keep the reserves Froome does.

Edit: I should probably have said that for the first time he doesn't look like the strongest Sky rider, which is obviously different.

Valverde gone, but he got his podium anyway. He was strong today and I respect him for the move on Croix de Fer.

Also, Froome is actually really looking bad.....

If not for Poels and Porte, it would have been exciting today. 2'38 is impossible even though he is giving his all, Quintana.

Not impossible if Froome had a hunger bonk.

Come on Hunger bonk! :D
