Let's spin it and find some history: he's the first anglophone rider to win both the overall and mountains classifications in the same Tour.
Indeed, but then you can wonder how relevant that is :p
First British rider to win multiple tours/grand tours.
Only British rider to win multiple tours/grand tours

are you being serious? as its only just happened first and only are exactly the same.
If you read the quoted comments you would have seen the context to which my comment was written...

The first British rider to lead the mountains classification whose surname is not Millar (Robert and David).
Now, that's a statistic!
Nice. But nothing will ever reach Bill James describing Junior Griffey (once voted as one of the best 30 baseball players of all time) as the "the second-best left-handed hitting, left-handed throwing outfielder ever born in Donora, Pennsylvania, on November 21".

Here's the quote: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Musial
On the flip-side Griffey can rest easy knowing it will probably be a few years before someone pushes him to third on that list.

Michael Rogers is making history as he is the first Australian former ITT WC to finish on the same team as a 4 time green jersey winner.

That's nothing. Peter Sagan is making history as the first 4 time green jersey winner on the same team as an Australian former ITT WC in a Tour won by someone with a rhinoceros design on their bike.

Greipel is the only person to witness it while having greipel in his surname?
