I understand why you have posted that but Cav has dragged his sorry ass through the Pyrennes and Alps just for tomorrow.

Kwia, Martin and Renshaw are clearly sorely missed. In theory It would be Vermote, Stybar, Trentin, so if he relies on them it will be an ultra late effort, perhaps only coming to the front in the last 1.5km. In reality I would think it would be Stybar or Trentin sticking on Greipel's wheel until 800m and then leaving Cav to have a thriller with the gorilla.

I think not having Renshaw could be a blessing for Cav, he will just have to stick to Greipels wheel and go late, that's how he won his stage rather than hitting the front too early.

Cav winning on the Champs Elysées in 2010 is what made me start watching cycling, that day was f***ing awesome. I hope he wins again.

I think what will happen is Stybar and trentin will just drop Cav off at the back of either the giant or lotto trains.

In the 2000s decade there were some wins by surprising sprinters (Svorada, Nazon, Steegmans) but not so much in this decade. It's always nice to see new winners and since I think it's print anyway, my pick is Degenkolb.
