Christian Prudhomme's comment

Of the 13 kilometres of the inaugural time-trial course, close to 10 will be set on the banks of the Rhine river or the bridges above it… and bends can be counted on the fingers of both hands! There will be no or almost no mystery: the “rouleurs” will have their word to say. In this speciality where a new generation is showing up, a multiple world-champion boosted by the support of his fans could well be the fastest man.

24 hours till the beginning...
Live timing
And don't forget the concert afterwards.

Martin surely is favourite, but in a short TT like this it's kind of unpredictable. A bad warm up, a couple of bad corners, wind changing slightly can all result in a loss of crucial seconds.

Other serious contender I guess is Roglic. I have a feeling Kwiatkowski could sneak a win though, if he is allowed to go for it. Matthews as another dark horse.

I thought about the tt parcourse, and I think I could complete it inside the time limit should've it been the Cecilienallee, instead of the Messe, that makes the loop.

Normally this would be Tony's win, but it's hard to judge his form. Im hoping on Roglic, but 14km panflat isnt ideal for him as well.

Küng

Anyone have a link to the start times? And I don't mean a link to a photo of the start times but an actual document

For a starting ITT I'd guess that teams are given a list of start times, then they decide which rider takes which time and tell the organiser the day before, so start times may not be available until later in the evening.

looking on map - eleven sharp (90+ deg.) turns.
So Roglic before everyone else, and most dangerous for him - Kwiato

Well after checking out those veins, I was gonna go with Mr Fit, but after putting my sensible head on I'm gonna go for 1. Roglic 2. Martin 3, Cummings.

Alberto Contador will win this bike race.

Bertie's Tour record post-positive: 5th, 4th, DNF, 5th, DNF. Contador fans in July are a lot like Liverpool fans in August: "this will be our year". No it won't.
