I know the circumstances were very different, but seeing Valverde lying on his side on the ground there brought back memories of Beloki. I hope that Valverde's injury is not as serious.

Ugh, it was one of those things you rarely hear in life that every time you do it stays with you, the difference between a cry in pain and a "something is seriously wrong" screech, worst part was you could hear it on the broadcast. Best case scenario is probably a Contador style fracture.
