Wrong. He's riding for the GC still - he's only 4:01 behind (about 2:50 on virtual GC)
He's not riding conservative because he has to make up a lot of time.

No way, he can't go for GC! Uran, Aru, Bardet and Froome must drop like rocks on third week and that's not gonna happen, maybe one or two of them, but not all of them!!

And now Landa enters the mix, so no, that's not gonna happen...

Second half of this climb is brutally steep that's where I expect Bardet and Aru to atatck Froome given how he struggled with the steep incline yesterday.

If Froome is really cooked he'll be dropped in the final 1-2km of the ascent anyway. You don't want to attack before that.

At this point, what do they have to lose? Landa can't help Froome today and a stage win is a real possibility.
