He is riding for stages now, so that is why Movistar is not so conservative

Wrong. He's riding for the GC still - he's only 4:01 behind (about 2:50 on virtual GC)
He's not riding conservative because he has to make up a lot of time.

No way, he can't go for GC! Uran, Aru, Bardet and Froome must drop like rocks on third week and that's not gonna happen, maybe one or two of them, but not all of them!!

And now Landa enters the mix, so no, that's not gonna happen...

I never said he was being realistic.
I never said he should ride for GC.
I simply said he is riding for GC.

I see your point, but Quintana knows he can't go for GC, so he is throwing everything he has today, we will se him cracking big time this weekend, he doesn't want to finish TDF as a ninja, so he wants this stage.

This creates a good environment for action, but he (And also Contador) knows that this is the stage.
