That's a mistake, no Astanas were up there

Why is he crying?

Contrary to popular belief, Germans do have emotions.

That's not... I mean, he's won so many stages, is he going to cry each time or was there anything special about today?

Good start for the green battle

There only will be a start.
By the second week it's not a battle.
Happens every year.

Well it helps Quickstep has a whole team dedicated to him. It should be much closer this year

I don't plan on watching, the race already feels like its over before its properly begun yet. Saddening.
Come on Valv.Piti! You don't want tomiss Nono's first TdF stage win... :)

Yes, Demare to slay the German Drago(n). Mark my words  .
Nah Kittel will still win.

Nono Balboa couldn't slay the Drago... . But he was mighty strong. He'll win one soon.

Fantastic, hectic sprint. It's a miracle that no crash occurred. These guys are amazing bike handlers.

Standard fare for the first week of the tour. It's a chance for 3 or 4 riders from the 2nd division teams to show themselves in a break, followed by the Quick-Step train taking over for a Kittel win.

Pretty much according to the menu. The crash helped make it into a frantic chase at the end though.

Kittel finished it off strongly in a chaotic sprint. Cav didn't do too badly. Hopefully, no-one was really injured today.
