Aru shouldn't have done that but trying to ride Aru into the fans on the side of the road is pathetic from Froome
Actually THAT should be a certain disqualification. Casagrande got one back then. It was clearly on intention unless Sagan.

Looks like Contador will have to take a risk to get back on during the descent.

I'm supporting Froome but this is ridiculous, they should have kept going full gas.

For a relative newcomer to purposefully attack when the MJ, favourite and 3 time winner has a mechanical?
How cycling etiquette and tradition has descended in the last few years.

So you are saying more established riders should get favoured over less well known ones?

Besides, what etiquette and tradition?

Cycling, like all sports, at this level are the jungle. And clearly not for men of honour

Aru's move was not classy but it was completely legitimate so **** everybody else.

I agree, but then why stop. He's already taking the blame anyway, so at least see where it goes.

Now the move was ****** and boring.

I think part of the reason he stopped is that all the others were just sitting in his wheel
The others don't want to be accomplices in such a move. Following Aru is defending their own positions, taking turns would share the blame for the move.

Maybe Aru thought Froome was calling for a drink

With 4 teammates around him, Froome goes back for a drink?
He knew what was happening!

they seemed to be in discussion afterward and he seemed apologetic
