Shirley they should be attacking to drop Knees and Rowe...
Yes, they should eliminate Sky's heavyweights before Colombiere.

You mean physically because I see no other way?
How about upping the pace?

You can't assume Sky are super strong and unassailable just because they're riding at the front, as the leader's team is wont to do, while the pace is slow and almost everybody is still in that group.

Who can up the pace?

Valverde would be perfect
Otherwise Chaves and Yates or Fuglsang and Aru.
Even Roche/Caruso (both just over 2 minutes down) and Porte can change the attitude of this stage.
Also, there is Latour (1 minute down) and Bardet (like yesterday) or Uran and Talansky...

Basically, any team with a leader and another rider within 3 minutes of Froome can make this stage fantastic.

(Coming from a SKY fan)

I know Viviani isn't in the race, but at this pace he can start his journey from Italy (or Austria, if he's still there), and arrive at the bunch just before the start of Mont du Chat.
This is very likely. Very!

At last Bertie will have some help today since Pantano is in the front, when is the last that happened...when Kreuziger towed him in 2013 I suppose.
