Isn't GC supposed to be the most rounded rider? Bike technique counts as a skill.

What is bike technique when you get squeezed out on a corner or blow out your tyres.

The number of guys who lost time should tell you it was basically random today

This. I know it's part of cycling, but it still sucks. Bike handling can only do so much in helping you not get caught behind due to crashes, punctures etc. Nairo should have done all he could to get within 3km though, but the way the rule is applied I don't really like. It should be more flexible.

Isnt 3km to go reserved for if you have a crash not a technical problem? Or maybe I was thinking of something else. It is strange that regardless he would stop so immediately and not just slowly roll on at least.

It was chaos

Only 3km to go (had cars and riders to go on)

Valverde and Landa in front group (how many more movistars riders were there more than those? I think a few was further behind...)

I wouldn't say it affected anything today, but Visconti did say after leaving the team that Quintana is arrogant and the whole team dislike him.

I wouldn't say it affected anything today, but Visconti did say after leaving the team that Quintana is arrogant and the whole team dislike him.

Yep that's the impression I get. Can't see him at Movistar next year.

Neither Valverde nor Landa can win the Tour but Quintana could
