They just want to make sure that Sagan has more than a handful of points to sprint for. If they get the full (50 for this stage?) would be nice, but even if there's a top 5 spot to get, just to pull back 20ish on Bennett would be a reasonable return for the day.Bora closed the break too soon.

They want to get Hirschi to the steep part of the Suc au May. He might be able to make it solo from there, or even if he can 2-up with Soler. Then Soler will be committed to work in case Benoot and/or Kragh catch up.Difficult for Sunweb, the 3 others will soon refuse to take turns.
