You could already guess it from the parcours, but the mountain stages on this Tour have been so uneventful...
Kämna was a world class TTer in the junior ranks, he won the 2014 Mj WC and finished 3rd in his first year in the u23 ranks one year later. He was also always a good climber and only 65kg, that's why people always saw him as a potential gc rider.Fuglsang sprinting used to be like watching syrup drop off a spoon.
He has worked a LOT on gaining a little punch, in the last few years, but it used to be, that irrespective of the group, Fuglsang could never win a sprint, even against tiny climbers.
But TBH Kämna deserves it a bit more...I'll be very happy if Kämna wins, but I would be just as happy for Carapaz. Will be a nice outcome anyway.

As long as it is flat and he is 1 vs. 1 against Carapaz or Reichenbach, he will gradually increase the gap. Way more power than those climbers. He decides it when he dropped Carapaz.Kamna has this... 45" with less than 10k to go is enough!!
ITT talent vs ITT disasterclass.Holy sh*t, Kämna is completely destroying Carapaz on the flat. Like, I expected him to stay away, but 1 minute over that stretch is a lot.

We'll see...I am quite sure this won't happen. Still a great rider.
