Most pro bike riders make very little money as is, a budget cap is not the solution.
I mean they're almost all on six figures, with minimal expenses on food etc. Unless your definition is a bit different lol. Besides, UCI can implement a minimum wage for rider salaries and a cap at the same time, hopefully resulting in teams having two or three superstars not six
 
prix combative still escapes Carapaz (the guy that attacked 3 days in a row, got 2nd behind Kamna, led the race until 4kms on the Meribel and will now finish second in this stage). Maybe Carapaz is too combative for that prize.

It's for the guy that followed wheels and crashed because he made a rookie mistake (Hirschi)

there‘s no way to enforce a salary cap. Good luck to the UCI stopping an oligarch from one country who owns a team based in a second from getting under the counter money to a rider from a third country who lives in a tax haven fourth country,
