If they continue like this, they might fall asleep and at some point - BANG!
Crosswinds, acceleration... a gap in no time.

Wolves came back to the region 'cause there's delicious lamb in Sisteron.

Gotta give it to Eurosport Germany today. I don't like most of their commentators but they have some very interesting stories today. One of the commentators just talked with Voigt about a Friedensfahrt Voigt won back in 1994. The commentator at the time worked as an interviewer for a small TV station or a newspaper or something and was sent to the race to interview the winner. After the penultimate stage he asked Voigt, who was already leading, how sure he was to win the race the next day and Voigt answered that he was quite confident nothing big was gonna happen the last day. So they asked Voigt if he could just give them the winners interview before the race had finished, so they could drive home one day early. Voigt agreed and they said they were basically just all really afraid something was gonna go wrong on the final day cause it would look really arrogant from Voigt and the interviewer would have had an interview from the wrong guy.

A good chance for a Non GC guy who's come in underdone to break away from the peleton to complete a high intensity 100km effort.

Sometimes I wonder why I love this sport. It can be so incredibly dull

Yeah, but we cant really expect fireworks every day over 21 days either. They still have to ride 198km today and it is raining. It takes it toll too, that will surely count later. It is an endurance sport in the end. Today will hopefully make other stages more fun.

Yeah, sure, I get that. It's just that it is my day off so I opened my beer and turned on the TV. Expected some action in a breakaway at least. Only to find out there isn't even one

Greipel looks really heavy. Wouldn´t be suprised if he finishes outside of the time limit in the 3rd week.

In the Dauphine I think he knew that he was not going to make it and took his number off and tried to do the stages without the number. That's what I heard from the broadcast. I am not sure if he actually finished the stages or not.
