The hard part of the climbing is still to come though.
If they can make it to the first "summit" with 14km to go, and whoever is still there can work together, they may have a chance.

I suspect that that might be when Sepp Kuss really kicks into gear, though.


Dan Martin is not right. I still say he should have rested his back and gone for Ardennes + Vuelta.

If even Aru can get 1 min in 2-3km, the peloton is going really slow. Next boring procession to the line...

Powless probably the best climber, but if he wants to win this, he should go all-in on the steeper parts. Now he is waisting energy.
He should go 2-3 km before the first summit, so with about 15-16 to go.

Aru has a solid gap now. Is he setting up a bridge for Pogacar? He surely won't cross that gap on his own.
