i actually rode it last summer myself. and bales both directions.

I don't think I could have made it over Balès. But I aim to one day return and tear them a new one!

I think the record of Colombia in the Pyrenees is abysmal, when compared to the Alps.On a scale of 1 to Colombian host broadcaster how excited will you get when Quintana attacks here.

They are still close.Trek has to try something. Mollema would be better on a downhill finish than Porte probably.
But.. will he mess his chain?Roglic will attack 1km before the top of Peyresourde
Finally some mountains for the GC guys to rest a bit after today's effort.
ala to out-sprint everyone at top of Peyresourde for the bonus and then pull a froome (only way better) on the descent, all the time while tightening his shoes
Also interesting will be if GC riders will try to place teammates in it...There will be a good fight for the breakaway. Least controversial prediction ever: Cosnefroy will try being in it.
has anyone done lac de cap-de-long climb in the same area? not a TDF climb because it is restricted in terms of being in a national park, but it looks amazing... next time...
So it's been seven stages so far, three of them won by the Jumblebees. Will they make it 4/8 tomorrow?
Problem is that there are no climbs early in the stage so pure climbers might struggle and we may see a breakaway of similar composition to the one on stage 6.Potential riders in the breakaway: Soler, Aru, Barguil, Carthy, Izaguirre, Nieve, Martinez, Formolo, and maybe one from jumbo and 1 from Ineos.

In last tours we often had breakaways with more then 40 riders on mountain stages (ok more the mountain stages in the end). If this will happen tomorrow, also climbers like them will be in..Problem is that there are no climbs early in the stage so pure climbers might struggle and we may see a breakaway of similar composition to the one on stage 6.
