Perhaps not good enough legs to waste energy and backing that nobody is going to clean up on a bunch of cat 2s while there's bigger stuff to come
Very high altitude summit tomorrow, thought maybe he was be passive today and go for big points tomorrow.

Cattaneo is a classy rider who sits 11th on the gc while still working a lot for Cav and Ala (on the first few stages).

With a classic Tour route with lots of kms of ITTs and a few hard mountain stages he could probably be a legit top 10 rider when it comes to the gc.

Guillaume Martin is like the anti-ninja

Not blessed with any truly elite gifts but constantly putting himself out there to find his way towards a respectable GC finish
