I'd say they won't have the break caught by the top of it so not sure what points will be there. His best chance imo is it they don't as if he goes clear with others, they'll just drop him on the descent.

Considering the situation, the best chance for KOM contenders will be to attack at the bottom of Portet and hope the GC contenders will mark each other out.

Froome has learned ISN the tactic of looking like they're working hard without actually doing much.

But the break might have used a lot of energy to keep the gap, so they could lose a lot when they reach Peyresourde.
