Pog: "Where are you guys running off to?"
Ineos guy: "Oh just up the road a bit"

A favour to compatriot ahead.
... is it a favour?

The guys in the back can just use the cars to get back on. The cars only get stopped if someone like Roglic crashes, like shown this year. I wonder if cars will always be part of the peloton to provide a wind shield.

*** Pog... just quit bitching around ffs
Just as I think Alpecin-Fenix are in their right to keep pulling after the crash, likewise Pogi and Ineos are free to moan about it. It doesn't seem to have intimidated A-F, so what's the harm?

Pog's aesthetic is far too nice-young-manish for that patron thing, you need the granite, weathered features of the badger/armstrong to be doing that sort of stuff. The boy hasn't seen enough winters.

Barrage (having the cars behind the peloton wait) only happens when riders are dropped, never (pretty much) after crashes. It's unfortunate though if you crash when riders are dropping too.

It just kills the racing usually when there is a kilometer or more line of cars that you can surf. And time penalties mean nothing to the sprint teams.

If UAE doesn't close this move down, QS will either hit the front or the break will take the stage.

It's weird that so many teams are willing to work for a Quickstep victory in the end. Very nice of them.

I think it's right of both Trek and B&B to attack and see if another group can get away. A bit more firepower up ahead and we won't see a bunch sprint.
