I had deja vu today. 15 km to go MVP attacked on the Mur and won ahead of Pog&Rog. At the finish line MVP attacked on the Mur and won ahead of Pog&Rog. Wow.
Congrats to MVP on his performance. Tadej showed his explosivity this time and gained bonus seconds. Both Slovenians are battling from a get go and are near top of GC! It doesn't seem that anybody will match them.

Lopez again doing his thing. Yesterday in a podcast they were blaming Movistar for not looking after him. The Colombians were blaming him because he just simply doesn't know how to position. Today he was clearly at the back all the time (just like yesterday). Literally, all the time. I just don't get why Movistar don't have someone with him to Shepperd him. I don't get it. And Valverde at the front does not matter at all. He is already out. Why doesn't he help. Proving again what many on this forum say about him, he is too old to win at the Tour and he is not use to be Gregario. So it is a wasted position. Anyway. Just like in the Giro, when the mountains come is going to be completely out of it.

He was crying after the victory and I was very close. Van der Poel was absolutely full throttle obsessed with the win and he got it after all day attacking..great race. The So I motion video of his legs and crushing pedal stroke make me as jealous as humanly possible!!

Of *** off, Lopez suck as positioning, dont let that out on the most legendary rider in the peloton. Valverde IS the team.

Sounds like he crashed yesterday and so possibly would be affected by that but regardless, losing 2 mins, what little chance of the GC podium was gone already. Another 20 secs doesn't change much. Still plenty of good stages to come for him of course

Again, as modern cycling goes - barring accidents - I don’t think the final outcome will be close.
