Rolf Soerensen making the point on TV2, that a rainy race is an advantage to Mads P, who tends to be better than everyone else in bad weather, not least with a couple of big, Belgian cobbles specialists as his lead out.
Maybe we should just bet on anyone with a Nordic sounding name!![]()

I don't think that matters much in a bunch sprint; Pedersen is great in bad weather when it's a long classic's race, but I don't think the final speed of the really fast guys will be much affected by the rain - the only thing that might change due to the weather is the importance of technical skills and the team. And even with the rain it won't be extremely cold today.
Lotto & FDJ pulling the peloton.
Behind them the GC riders from Ineos, then Jumbo, then UAE, then Movistar, then Bahrain.
Neither Alpecin, Trek or DQ visible near the front.
I thought that GC riders from Ineos were an extinct species.
Some light reading for todays predicable stage
