Will be a great day of racing, these hard medium mountain stages before the big mountain ranges are such a great watch since theres so much at stake (thinking yellow primarily). Hopefully Van Aert and Julian tries to grab it. I wouldnt rule out a MVP-break alá Greg 2016 in yellow, that might just be his best defence on such a long day which his team cannot control.
My positivism for this stage paid off. I cant say that it usually does in this race...

So which teams do we worry will inevitably panic at some point and help UAE for random reasons?
DQS after the intermediate sprint because of JA? (Although they have Asgreen in the break so might be satisfied with his chances)
Astana because of Lutsenko and Fugelsang?
Movistar pulling a Movistar to protect Mas Top 10?

Ironically I worry the least about Ineos, who apart from UAE have the most to lose, because they're sly and ballsy enough to poker on UAE destroying themselve and letting Pogacar hung out to dry.
Movistar's best rouleurs are in the break

Before this Tour, could Cav have possibly imagined he'd have multiple stage wins and command of the green jersey after a week of racing?

Thought there was something missing about this thread, realised Broccolidwarf had been banned.

R.I.P It's the flippant North Korea comparisons I'll miss the most.

Been outside doing the garden all morning not checking the cycling, disgusted with myself, Nibali doing a Pereiro.

The break will get 15 minutes today and Pog will have to show us what he's really got.

Tomorrow also looks like a perfect day to try and catch out Pogacar on the descent of Mont-Saxonnex at this rate.

hmm the break is losing time already and now come the climbs, i dont think it will be such a massacre in the end. Lots of riders in the break are already softpedaling.

Even someone as typically negatively minded to preserving team position vs winning as Brian Smith doesn't understand TDE
