Looking at PCS Bettiol hasn't been under 20th in tts as a pro, one win and two podiums in short distances so not a bad shout.

So Pog basically dismounted from his bike and walked it around all corners, remounted and exploded like a dragster on the straights. Rinse, repeat. Crush all rivals.
Maybe for most corners, but he went through that chicane at the pedestrian bridge smoother than most of the other GC guys.

Probably. I do think KOM will have a load of guys going for it. There's enough climbing talent here that should be anyway as they've no shot against Pog and Jumbo. Might as well try and do a Guillaume Martin instead of sitting at the back of the peleton and getting shelled out.

I think this competition will be at least as interesting as that for GC. Hope Trek aren't still persisting with Ciccone for the latter?

Should be. Guys like Guerreiro, Pinot, Bardet, one of the Bora's, Woods/Fuglsang should all be trying on different stages imo, and probably others if they get caught on the cobbled stage or crosswinds tomorrow.

The whole of France seems to be going for the Polka Dots this year
