It feels frankly impossible to see this go to the breakaway given the GC situation.
OK, but if somehow it does go to the breakaway, do you think he is capable? Or he can't do such climbs well enough to pull it off?

Poor Frenchies - no stage win for them...LOL

Cosnefroy is a fantastic rider for hills and short explosive efforts, not for the long climbs.
He has no chance.

I don't think he's good enough on this terrain, but there are plenty of decent french climbers still left in the race.

Pog to launch a long range attack on Spandelle and Vingegaard to stick like glue to him again and then counter attack him on Hautacam to all but seal the tour.

Unless Jumbo decide to race for the stage the break should take this today. Its the last chance for the non GC climbers to salvage something so I can see a hectic start as riders try to get into the break.
