Jumbo is always racing like this. Hard at the start, then take it easy for the middle part. Gap will go out soon

I think it would be better for Jumbo to get guys up the road and then do max efforts up to and on Ramaz to launch Vingegaard. Rather than trying to control the break all day at a short gap and burn your guys out

Jumbo tried putting people out in front the first 13 stages, it didn't work.

Now they are revising their strategy to try and make it hard all day.

It is unexpected, but I like it.

We are sure to get a big showdown on the last climb.

I don't get why Jumbo don't give them at least a bit more time. So far they only made sure the attacks to bridge to the break kept coming.

One of two key road stages left. I hope it will be spectacular. An all out action on Joux Plane proceeded by very strong pace (probably by JV) on Ramaz (which only the strongest guys survive).

I think this is one of 3 stages (alongside Tourmalet and Loze) that JV and Vinge already planned to destroy before the Tour even started.

If Jumbo rides like this and Vinge can't drop Pogi, he probably doesn't have it. This is his terrain.
Yes and no. It's not just about today. Jumbo has today, tomorrow, and Wednesday to put time in Pogi. This is what Jumbo has trained for. But Pogi is a one-in-a-generation rider, and he knows what's coming. In interview this morning, he said he has one objective: survive.

Breakaway riders are leading the peloton up the garden path I think, they did the same thing yesterday, gap will balloon at some point because there's no way these guys can't go faster than Laporte if they want.
