I don't want to sound insensible or something but my only focus is to see Pogi and Vinge good. Sometimes, I forgot they are all human beings with beautiful families praying and waiting for them. Shame on me.
This will be a little test of the body to shut everything down and get going again. I think a lot of them would like to be on rollers right now.

So van Aert to accidentaly drop Vingegaard on the Cat 3, and just blindly rides for 20k without looking back or listening to the radio with Pog on his wheel?

I think Van Gils crashes first yeah. Not sure really what happens but he seems to be hitting the deck first.

a slight curve to the right in a downhill, suddenly a rider (Lotto?) sliding somewhere around 15-20th position in the peloton.
Not a place where you expect a crash, but if it happens, there is no avoiding for all others.
It's really hard to tell what happened. It didn't really look like a touch of a wheel. More like the bike slid out from under him on the curve.

Just a few days ago I was thinking it was a bit strange how we never see crashes in the break formation phase of the stages. Well...

As much as it sucks fro sprint competition, I think with sprinters like Cavendish, Jakobsen, Ewan and others abandoning those teams really come to life. We now have Quickstep, Lotto and Astana all trying for breaks and racing aggressively.
Much better than them holding half their teams back to babysit the struggling sprinter that wasn’t winning anything anyway
