I bet the commentators and media will cheer for the Danes at the WC in Edinburgh. Is that allowed or will you also in this case cheer for the non-Danes?

Rasmussen was the only one I REALLY rooted for because he was so different and spectacular. Of the current crop of riders, I really only root for Asgreen, and I must admit I actively root against Skjelmose who they are promoting as the new darling, very Fuglsang-esque.

Yes that's the one. Awful crash, super high speed. He was still decending with the group at that point. Yes he was never a good descender but he could somewhat follow. After that it was over.

They are allowed to root for Danish riders, as long as it's not over the top (in the WC it's alright though), but I didn't like how they tried to force me to root for the Schlecks, for instance,and later Contador, the guy they had painted as the enemy in the years before.

There is nothing odd about Danish commentators rooting for a Danish team.
When Danish football teams play international matches, it would be weird to not root for them, just because the striker scoring the goals is Spanish, or whatever.
