Even though Alpecin seems to have the best sprint train, I will go with Jakobsen today as this flat finish in a longish straight could give him an advantage.

Pedersen mentioning a problem with racing on motorsport circuits that I hadn't considered:
Rubber being burned into the asphalt, making the tires stick. Though, Vinjebo didn't seem to think it would be a problem today.
Mads having fresh experiences to share:
This from a go-kart track in his home country just pre-tour :p

However, I would add that a track can change a lot, apart from layers of rubber.
Anyone who has participated in track days knows that a fresh track with no recent traffic is completely different from a track where there is regular driving all day. And then it also differs from track to track in terms of maintenance.
This even based on the same, dry conditions on a flat course.
Added to this is the weather, wet weather right after a race can make asphalt as smooth as brown soap.
While a maintained track without a race can provide cyclists with tolerable, fast turns.
But even a track without track driving on the same day and it then falls from the sky and if there are just a few 'curls' on the track, then it may well be a bit spicy for a Tour peleton.
But again, the chosen section of today's track is more forgiving than the Gokart track displayed in above vid.

Joe Biden just flew over my house. That's more exciting than most of today's stage.

And I'm neutral on the president.

Guaranteed this stage of nothingness will give us a crash and wipe out a GC guy later.
