I just don't get how people see Pogi stacking up against Vingegaard exactly like he did last year and start crying "Noooo if only he was in last years shape"
To be fair, the only stage he really got torched was Granon and that was after chasing attacks for 60km and even doing an unnecessary pull on Galibier.
Today he's lost a similar amount of time on a much easier stage without putting his nose in the wind prior to Vingegaard's attack. It's not unreasonable to think last year's Pogacar could have followed him here.

Based on what? How many attacks by Vingegaard could Pogacar follow last year? Did he attack him at any point outside the Galibier and the Hautacam stages?

Can't say the Tour is over but we now know that Vingegaard is the strongest rider by some distance. That was a huge show of strength, the time gap is huge on a stage that should have been in Pogacars favour if anything. Barring a tactical mishap, a crash or some black swan event, it's Jumbos Tour to lose now.
