That's not the only reason though. Konrad and Jungels would stay with Hindley if they could, yet they've been dropped by freaking Van Hooydonck.
Sure. I just wanted to say that not necessarily all dropped riders are climbing worse than them. Of course, many are.

Vingegaard should have attacked by now.

Nope, too soon, he would end up passing the break.

If he goes on Tourmalet, it will be 1-2 K from the top, when everyone has been on their limit for a long time.

But he may wait for the last climb, because UAE is still there in force.

Benoot dropping is a problem, because he was the guy to ramp it up, it will have to be Kelderman now.

Notice Kuss went past Vingegaard when Benoot dropped... to me it indicates they plan to make a move on Tourmalet, otherwise Kuss would have stayed on Vingegaard'ss wheel..
