True, but on the first climb he lost minutes and was throwing up on the bike. He looked like he was about to pass out the way he was riding. He looks a lot more comfortable now and on the last climb to the way he did then.

Also catching others is good mentally and probably gives them a bit extra.

The heat is affecting them differently. Lazkano finished in the Dauphiné Top 10 and has been dropped.
