This is a bit underwhelming, I guess, but on the other hand, it perhaps wasn't realistic to expect GC fireworks on the first stage.

It seems that Vingegaard is suffering a bit. Don't think it is dramatic enough that he would lose time at this point, but doesn't look all that comfortable [then again, who knows]
I think it was very realistic. I'm pretty sure UAE was trying to set up just that, but when their pure doms couldn't make much of a difference they did not yet want to sacrifice their group of secondary leaders on a move that wasn't super likely to succeed anyway.

DSM with their random super performance.

Frank Van Den Broeck is an insane transfer. Perfect scouting. Dude is insanely strong today. Deserves the win, but I guess they will give it to Bardet.

Can you blame them? Their goal is to be as sharp as possible in the 3rd week.

It is UAE that is today's loser in my books.
I wasnt blaming anyone. It was just a statement.

I dont agree with that. There was not much to gain today. San Luca is a better opportunity tomorrow to the test the legs a bit.

Good old EF

Manage to have a crap attack that went nowhere and let Pedersen hang on by leaving Visma ride as you watched Healy go nowhere

They've been fooled by this fake pace from Visma I think, someone should've tried something but it's too late.
If teams are still being fooled by Visma fake pacing after all those years of sitting doing nothing with 15 in the lead bunch and keeping Sepp Kuss in reserve so that nobody does anything before Rogla tries to attack from the kind of distance that Joaquím Rodríguez would call "leaving it late", then they deserve to lose.
