Ayuso will be fine when he’s gone with only Pogi who can follow.
Just saving more energy for when he’s needed.

I’m distracted watching. Is it me or does the yellow
Jersey group gap to the break keep swinging back and forth wildly?

Healy and Lazkano are two absolute beasts and real revelations of the Tour. We knew Lazkano was a stud on the cobbles and did well at the Dauphine, but this guy is a beast.

Crazy that Healy is only 7 minutes down given the way he has been racing...

his performance on the Galibier was totally unexpected too. Was the ~12th strongest guy up the mountain and would have lost a lot less time (maybe ~2 mins less given who dropped with) if did not ride in with Carapaz.

Doubt he is ever a threat for more than a top 10 GC finish in career... but before this tour I thought at his best he would simply be a Ardennes Classic contender over the next ~10 years and maybe, just maybe get a LBL win with some luck and a weaker field.

But this TDF makes me think he could be a contender at Il Lombardia too.
