When Healy is on he’s on. But he has long and deep valleys in his form. We talked about his potential at stage racing vs stage hunting or hilly classics. Numbers don’t lie now. He’s nipping at top 10 three week racingCrazy that Healy is only 7 minutes down given the way he has been racing...
his performance on the Galibier was totally unexpected too. Was the ~12th strongest guy up the mountain and would have lost a lot less time (maybe ~2 mins less given who dropped with) if did not ride in with Carapaz.
Doubt he is ever a threat for more than a top 10 GC finish in career... but before this tour I thought at his best he would simply be a Ardennes Classic contender over the next ~10 years and maybe, just maybe get a LBL win with some luck and a weaker field.
But this TDF makes me think he could be a contender at Il Lombardia too.
By a farmer, yesKamna got absolutely mugged around here IIRC
He is literally what you would get if wout van aert became a good riderLazkano what a beast, 75 kg and smashing 10% gradient climb!
They keep showing Bardet and Thomas like it's Indurain getting dropped
No idea why they let him inRemco didn't look happy at Vingegaard there slotting in front of him to get onto Pogacars wheel.
He's the defending winner. He gets first dibs.No idea why they let him in
They act as if they do. Weirdly
He is good, not a heavy crashAny word on van Aert? Curious how he's recovered from his little tumble
Whatever happened to all the new young kids with no respectHe's the defending winner. He gets first dibs.
Think pacing suggests an attack on Pertus rather than this climbDoes Pog launch in the last Km of this climb?
