Has Pogacar ever been overtrained or out of shape?
I would agree if it was any other guy than him - he is not normal.I just strikes me as a very risky idea to just send him to do another GT, without having planed for that at all in the buildup.
No. He's been at the end of a peak, like at World's last year, but he was still better than nearly everyone. It's crazy.Has Pogacar ever been overtrained or out of shape?
I think it's also used as short for "corporate", which also makes it weird, but not as bad as corpsQuick linguistic question:
Doesn't "corp" mean, well... "corpse"? That gives "Côte de Corps" a rather macabre name...
I think it's also used as short for "corporate", which also makes it weird, but not as bad as corps
But I wonder what the real translation actually is
Hopefully not as bloody todayMaybe there was some sort of historical battle in the area, with lots of people dying...
As it's on the Route Napoléon, I'd guess a military connection as in a "body" (or group) of men.I think it's also used as short for "corporate", which also makes it weird, but not as bad as corps

Much more lovable! The mountain of ravens!French Wikipedia refers to corvus/corbeaux (crows) as the likely origin of the name.

True. Many expected Pogacar to be weaker there after a busy season and yet he beat Mads Pedersen in the sprint for the last podium place. One of the many times when the Slovenian said afterwards that he was surprised about his own capabilities, as I recall.No. He's been at the end of a peak, like at World's last year, but he was still better than nearly everyone. It's crazy.
Ravens and crows live off dead bodies so ...Much more lovable! The mountain of ravens!
Lance said it was politically incorrect of Pog to attack

Same procedure as yesterday, since that went quite well.I cheer for the break today.
Nomatter how broke they may be.
Lance is bullying Pogi already. Fearing his 7 wins is up for graps. Can't blame him. Stakes are too high for anyone to claim reimbursement, no one will get caught speeding up the mountains, it's too bad for business and no one would join ever again.Lance said it was politically incorrect of Pog to attack

I simply adore politically incorrectness as of Pogi's.Lance said it was politically incorrect of Pog to attack

I think it means 'body' more generally, and the body to mean 'the group' or 'the whole thing' like in Esprit de Corps.Quick linguistic question:
Doesn't "corp" mean, well... "corpse"? That gives "Côte de Corps" a rather macabre name...
They need to look at it as how much is there is lose. Vuelta is two weeks after the Olympics and finishes 3 weeks before the Worlds I think. There's some big climbing already on stages 4 and 6 - if he's already smashed everyone to shreds there then just keep going as easily as possible; if he's not good then pull out and have a few more weeks off before the Worlds. As cycling fans we understand that the Triple Crown Giro-Tour-Worlds is historically the ultimate thing, but how cool would it be to take a chance at going beyond even that?I would agree if it was any other guy than him - he is not normal.
