Tell EF if they get involved in the GC like this then they will spend the entirety of next season having a 7 man yellow train mowing down Georg Steinhauser and Jack Rootkin-Gray moves in insignificant 2.1 races

I'm not sure about this move by Visma unless Vingegaard is feeling really, really good. Using three of your guys to go up the road kind of precludes any chance of them drilling it up Vars/Bonette.
This is what not caring about second place looks like. They are going for it, and if Jonas cracks then he cracks.

Surprised UAE isn't shutting that down. That's too much firepower allowed off the front, IMHO.

I appreciate that VLAB doesn't ride to protect second place. I think it is futile, but still a nice attempt.
Actually sending riders up the road instead of drilling the peloton is a very good way of protecting second place

frankly, at the risk of looking like an idiot in three hours, it also is a good way to try to get a stage win for Jorgenson if GC is out of reach

Depending on the result this image will be viewed in one of two ways. They destroyed him, or he destroys them.

It's quite a bromance those two guys have at the moment. Lets see if that keeps going.

EF isn't gonna be happy with this, they wanted Carapaz to have a shot at KOM jersey still

Once again they missed out and now have to use extra power to repair. They should hire a sport director to helt them out. Wonder what it could have been, if Carapaz had used his energy in a better way - but on the other hand, he got a stage.

At least they are trying something and riders in front can be used both for attacks and helt if needed.

If I was Vingegaard I would'nt care if i ended 2 or 5 in the tour, as long as I had a shot at nr. 1.
