The KoM competition didn't really get into gear this year either. The battle was between Catapaz and the top GC. Good that no GC guys won it. But I miss a contest between several riders till the end. (Abrahamsen doesn't really count - it was just for the show.)

They couldn't ask for much more, really. They almost didn't even bring Carapaz because of his Tour de Suisse crash and then getting sick afterwards. Winning the polka dot jersey, a stage, and wearing yellow was almost a best case scenario for them.
